Time Wasting Shower

After watching the original “Cheaper by the Dozen” I started thinking if I am being as affiancing with my showers as I could be. First I start by using a sugar exfoliate (Victoria’s Secret) on my feet (left foot then right). Now I scrub the sugar against the skin until it melts and no longer feels coarse in my hands. After my feet I sugar exfoliate my knees (left then right), hands, elbows, and chest. I use a walnut exfoliate on my back and shoulders.
Next I apply Pure Grace by philosophy shower gel on a loofah. Starting with my left foot I wash, scrubbing hard, up to the knee. Then I repeat on the right leg. You would think I would then finish the left leg, but I don’t. I move on to the left arm. First I rinse out the loofah and apply fresh shower gel. Then starting at the left hand I wash up the entire length of the arm including the shoulder and armpit. Next I do the same with the right arm. Another rinse of the loofah, fresh shower gel I move on to my chest, stomach, and backside. And then once I what soaped every other part of my… then and only then do I finish washing my legs (knee to hip).
Now that I am covered in soap and red from rubbing my skin raw I stand under the waterfall and rinse. All the while giving my skin one final scrapping from the loofah.
I dry myself off while still in the shower (water turned off of course). I start at my neck and dry first my backside (top to bottom) and then the front side (top to bottom).
I don’t know why but I can’t help but shack the feeling that I am wasting precious sleeping/ TV time with my current process.
Wow for a minute I must have been channeling Star Jones with all those label drops.

i do love a good sugar scrub. now to business... i believe that the shower time can be decreased. i will figure that the showering ritual just described is for every shower, why not alternate a simple pouf or the loofa with the shower gel for like 2 showering days with the intensive exfoliating on the third shower day? i shower about every other day and once-ish or twice-ish a week i get in the good scrub. hhhmm since this is summer i realize i lied, almost every shower i use my pumice on my feet but otherwise the rest is true. and how long does this shower take you to complete? 15, 20, 30 minutes? i figure that the scrubbing/exfoliating is what takes the longest, if you cut that out or only do the most rough skin each time, you can have more tv time. my "normal" shower takes me 10-15 minutes, the extra tiring scrubby shower takes about 30.
